Warp Says Its AI Agent Logs Were Exposed. We Checked What Ours Keep

BleepingComputer reported on October 27, 2026: "Agent decision logs and telemetry data belonging to Warp agentic development environment users were exposed in an attack on a third-party vendor in the project’s infrastructure." Warp's CEO estimates that "roughly 1% of Warp users may have been impacted." BleepingComputer adds that "the company did not clarify whether the exposed information included source code, prompts, credentials, or other sensitive details." The CEO says Warp detected the operation within hours; CrowdStrike was brought in and law enforcement was told.
