Wiz: A Stolen AI Key Made 1.7M Calls in 13 Hours

Within 30 minutes of the reported credential access in one platform's breach, the security company Wiz says, two stolen keys for Amazon's Bedrock AI service saw their first unauthorized use. Then the flood: about 800,000 calls on one key in 30 hours and about 1.7 million on the other in 13, by Wiz's count. At list price, Wiz estimates, those two cases alone likely ran up more than $100,000 in usage. List price is not a bill, and Wiz does not say what anyone was charged, or which platform it was.
