Claude Malware Built to Price Victims, Talos Says

Claude malware: Cisco Talos says a Windows infostealer called VOLTA is built to send a profile of the person it robs to a model and ask for a report headed "WHAT THEY'RE WORTH." Anthropic's Claude Opus 4.6 is the first model in the program's settings, WIRED reports, with Moonshot AI's Kimi K2 and Google's Gemini 2.5 Flash next if a reply looks like a refusal. With no key, Talos says, the program skips the model and still steals.
