WorkOS Attack Involved AI Tool ARTEX, CEO Says

An attack on WorkOS involved an AI attack tool called ARTEX, its chief executive says in a post on X. WorkOS's own security bulletin, dated November 2, never uses that name. It says that on October 30 it identified unauthorized access to an internal application used by its sales team, and that the information accessed included business contact details and summaries of customer communications. It says there is no evidence that WorkOS application data was accessed.
